Federal Street looks for the best manager for the client in each asset class.  In doing so we evaluate the client's existing managers against our recommended managers and incorporate the most appropriate choice for the portfolio. This review includes both investment and tax considerations.

We help with the administrative burden of hiring and changing managers. Going forward, we oversee the program design and the third-party managers, recommending changes as appropriate. While we do not make frequent changes, we find that we can enhance the results and avoid major pitfalls by shifting the allocation in response to significant risks and opportunities in the marketplace and by replacing managers before problems manifest themselves in poor performance.
